US sales tax is the part that catches people: nexus rules differ by state, rates change at city level, and a store that gets this wrong finds out at filing time. Beyond that, buyers expect the wallets, buy-now-pay-later options and one-click checkout they get everywhere else, and abandon quickly when they do not.
We build stores on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom platform you own outright, chosen for how your business actually works rather than for what we prefer to build.
Specific to The United States
Cards, wallets and buy-now-pay-later; US buyers abandon fast when a familiar option is missing.
Sales tax nexus differs by state and rates change at city level — the part that surfaces at filing time.
Zone-based carrier rates, and returns treated as a normal cost rather than an exception.
What gets built
Most stores lose more money between the cart and the confirmation than anywhere else. Fewer steps, wallets available, errors that say what is wrong, and a mobile flow built for thumbs rather than shrunk from the desktop one.
Variants, bundles and stock that stay correct when the catalogue grows, and search and filtering that still return something useful at a thousand products.
Orders reaching your accounting package, warehouse or ERP without anyone re-typing them, so the store is part of the operation rather than a separate thing to reconcile.
Our working day ends at about 09:30 in New York and 06:30 in Los Angeles, so we overlap your early morning. For US clients we routinely schedule calls in your afternoon, which is our evening.
We are an in-house team in Ludhiana, Punjab, working since 2013. Nothing is subcontracted, so the people you speak to are the people writing the code. Hosting, domain and every account are in your name from the first day, and the contract says what you receive of the code before we start.
Three things usually sit next to a store build: a custom Shopify app where the platform stops short, AI for catalogue content and support once the store is busy, and search and answer-engine work so buyers in the United States find it at all.
Before you ask
Our working day ends at about 09:30 in New York and 06:30 in Los Angeles, so we overlap your early morning. For US clients we routinely schedule calls in your afternoon, which is our evening. Day to day the work runs on email, WhatsApp and video calls, with written scopes and milestones, so nothing depends on catching each other live.
We invoice in USD, split across project milestones rather than asking for the full amount upfront. You get a proper invoice for your accounts, and the first milestone is small by design so you can judge the work before committing further.
You do. The store, the domain, the hosting and every third-party account are in your name, with full access handed over at launch, and the source code is yours where the contract says so, which for a store build is the usual arrangement. It is written into the quote before work starts.
Describe the situation in plain language. If we are the wrong team for it, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
