We invoice in MYR, split across project milestones rather than asking for the full amount upfront. You get a proper invoice for your accounts, and the first milestone is small by design so you can judge the work before committing further.
The accounts always: hosting, domain and every third-party service are registered in your name. The software is delivered either as source or as a licensed installation, and the contract says which before work starts. Where it is licensed you receive a working, supported system rather than the code, which keeps the platform from being resold and keeps outside changes from introducing faults in payouts.
