What is different about Canada

Canadian buyers expect Interac and the major cards at checkout, GST/HST and provincial tax handled correctly at the line level, and shipping that quotes real Canada Post and courier rates rather than a flat guess. Cross-border sales into the US bring duties and customs fields that a default store configuration does not cover.

We build stores on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom platform you own outright, chosen for how your business actually works rather than for what we prefer to build.

Specific to Canada

What we handle differently here

Payments

Interac plus the major cards; Canadian buyers notice when Interac is missing.

Tax

GST/HST with provincial variation, calculated per line rather than as one rate.

Delivery

Live Canada Post and courier rates; flat national shipping either loses money on remote deliveries or overcharges the cities.

What gets built

The parts that decide whether it works

Checkout that finishes

Most stores lose more money between the cart and the confirmation than anywhere else. Fewer steps, wallets available, errors that say what is wrong, and a mobile flow built for thumbs rather than shrunk from the desktop one.

Catalogue that scales

Variants, bundles and stock that stay correct when the catalogue grows, and search and filtering that still return something useful at a thousand products.

The systems behind it

Orders reaching your accounting package, warehouse or ERP without anyone re-typing them, so the store is part of the operation rather than a separate thing to reconcile.

Working with us from Canada

Our working day ends at about 09:30 in Toronto and 06:30 in Vancouver, so the overlap is your early morning. In practice we move calls outside our standard hours for Canadian clients rather than asking you to take them at dawn.

We are an in-house team in Ludhiana, Punjab, working since 2013. Nothing is subcontracted, so the people you speak to are the people writing the code. Hosting, domain and every account are in your name from the first day, and the contract says what you receive of the code before we start.

Three things usually sit next to a store build: a custom Shopify app where the platform stops short, AI for catalogue content and support once the store is busy, and search and answer-engine work so buyers in Canada find it at all.

Before you ask

Questions from Canada

Can you work with a business in Canada from India?

Our working day ends at about 09:30 in Toronto and 06:30 in Vancouver, so the overlap is your early morning. In practice we move calls outside our standard hours for Canadian clients rather than asking you to take them at dawn. Day to day the work runs on email, WhatsApp and video calls, with written scopes and milestones, so nothing depends on catching each other live.

What currency will we be invoiced in?

We invoice in CAD, split across project milestones rather than asking for the full amount upfront. You get a proper invoice for your accounts, and the first milestone is small by design so you can judge the work before committing further.

Who owns the store when it is finished?

You do. The store, the domain, the hosting and every third-party account are in your name, with full access handed over at launch, and the source code is yours where the contract says so, which for a store build is the usual arrangement. It is written into the quote before work starts.
